Space Week, officially known as World Space Week, is an international celebration of space science and technology, held annually from October 4 to October 10. Organized by the United Nations, its purpose is to highlight the contributions of space exploration to humanity. The dates commemorate two important milestones: the launch of Sputnik 1, the first human-made satellite, on October 4, 1957, and the signing of the Outer Space Treaty on October 10, 1967, which set guidelines for peaceful space exploration.

Space Week at LGSi was an exciting celebration dedicated to igniting curiosity and wonder about the universe. The week was filled with interactive learning experiences, encouraging students to think beyond our planet and imagine the vast possibilities that space holds. Through creative projects, collaborative discussions, and exploratory activities, students deepened their understanding of space science and developed a greater appreciation for the mysteries of the cosmos. This special week fostered a sense of awe and excitement, inspiring students to dream big and think like future explorers of the stars.
