PYPx: Sharing the Planet - Children's Education

We are pleased to announce that Maham Ali, Communications Specialist, will be addressing PYP5 on Children's Education, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, for their exhibition unit on the transdisciplinary theme, 'Sharing the Planet'.

Maham Ali is a communications specialist based in Islamabad, Pakistan who has been working in the development sector for the last 7 years. Maham started her career as the coordinator of the largest learning festival for children in Pakistan, Children’s Literature Festival, and went on to become its first Chief Executive Officer. After CLF, Maham joined the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority as a Media and Public Relations Consultant. Maham has also worked with the USAID funded program, Pakistan Reading Project, as part of World Learning staff. For the last five years, Maham has been acting as an advisor to the Karachi-based organisation, The Dawood Foundation, and has supported them in their various education initiatives. Apart from her professional work, Maham is known for raising her voice for various issues in her personal capacity.
