Workshop on Achieving Actionable Goals with Junaid Malik for optimization of IBDP CAS timelines, outcomes and project stages.

After completing a double degree in Economics and Drama from the University of Washington, Seattle, Junaid Malik worked in Pakistan’s corporate and entrepreneurial ecosystem for ten years. He started his career in Pakistan as founding team member of Enterprise Risk Management department of Telenor Pakistan. He ventured into the entrepreneurship space when he launched his first Social Impact startup, called Raise d’Bar – developing a series of food products for Pakistan’s growing health conscious urban market that provided market access to low-income farmers in remote areas. He also launched CricHQ in Pakistan- a New Zealand based sports technology and cricket management platform and later launched Takhleeq Business Incubator (University of Central Punjab) as the founding Incubation Manager. Prior to the Covid19 crises, he was working towards launching Sri Lanka’s first experiential verticals accelerator, Serendipity Venture, that aims to work with startups that are striving to make the hospitality, fashion, and food sectors more equitable for local communities. Curriculum development, Mentor and Investor relationship management and community engagement have been critical areas of focus of his work.
